Are you ready? With Halloween over, the “holiday season” truly takes off with preparations for Thanksgiving, Parades, Marathons, and overall Holiday joy. Why not make the most of your November with family, friends, maybe even co-workers? Nov. 3rd: HOT RABBIT Fridays 11PM – 4AM @BootAndSaddle (100 7th Ave. South)

Nov. 22nd: Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade Balloon Inflation, 3PM – 10PM, Central Park West at 79th St. (near American Museum of Natural History)

  • Having become almost as popular as the parade itself, the Balloon Inflation station allows one to view at their own pace as these gigantic characters take shape.

Nov. 23rd: Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, 9AM – 12PM,

  • Show up and grab a spot to stand quick! Or else sit back at home and turn on the TV, because it’s that time of year again!

  • Here’s Where to Watch – Starting at West 77th St on Central Park West and continues down to W 34th St. at Herald Square.

Nov. 23rd – Nov. 25th: New York City Turkey Trot, 9:15AM Trot Start Time – 11:15AM,

  • A 15K RUN ($55) OR 5K WALK ($45) is perfect for anyone looking to remove some Thanksgiving Dinner damage or sweat off some holiday stress.

  • Held on the beautiful parts of Roosevelt Island overlooking views of Manhattan

  • Incentive: Anyone who finishes will receive a Famous Finish Line Cinnamon Roll!!!

  • (There’s also a kid’s dash for any young trotters accompanying Big Trotters)

Nov. 24th: Annual Day After Thanksgiving Hike, 10AM – 5PM, Greenbelt Nature Center, Staten Island (700 Rockland Ave. & Brielle Ave)

  • This is the 14th Annual Day after Thanksgiving hike in Greenbelt’s serene woods. It is approx. a 2.5-hour hike at a moderate pace. Suitable for ages 10+.

Nov. 3rd – Aug. 31st, 2018: Catacombs by Candlelight Tour, 11AM, 1PM, 3PM, St. Patrick’s @OldCathedral (263 Mulberry St.)

  • ONLY $35 for an exclusive tour beneath this cathedrals Basilica taking you through the storied underground resting places of legendary New Yorkers from Bishops to Civil War generals!

  • ~90minutes, up to 15 people per tour

Nov. 22nd- Jan. 14th: Holiday Train Show, Tues-Sun 10AM – 6PM, @NewYorkBotanicalGarden (2900 Southern Blvd.)

  • Only $23 – $28 to experience the garden light up with a collection of trains chugging along a nearly ½ mile track by 150 miniature NYC landmarks. Just to *spruce* it up, it’s all made of natural materials such as leaves, twigs, bark, and berries!
