Masks are encouraged but not required.

No, there is no food menu. You are welcome to bring food with you at the moment.

Is there an $18 Drink Minimum?

The majority of our shows uphold a standard comedy club $18 minimum, this included our house shows. Please see details of the specific show you are attending about the requirement.

We have a full bar plus soda, non alcoholic beer, water and “mocktails” available. If you do not wish to purchase a drink, you can pay the $18 minimum. 

Does a drink purchase at the bar count towards your minimum?


What is the seating arrangement at the club?

‘The Fan’ tickets are on a first come first served basis. We recommend arriving 30 minutes prior to the start of your show to check in.

‘VIP’ tickets receive priority seating.

“Owners Box’ includes admission for up to 6 People in our reserved private balcony.

What is the dress code? 

We do not have a specific dress code policy.

Can I take photos or record the experience?

We want you to be able to remember the experiences you have at our venue, however, there is absolutely no video recording or photos of the comedians permitted once the performance begins (unless it was previously arranged with the venue or requested by the performer). If we notice your taking video or photographs during the performance, we will remind you that this is not allowed and ask you to put your device away.  If you do not honor our policy, we reserve the right to have you leave the venue without a refund.  We are happy to have you take photos before or after the experience! 

What is your latecomer policy?

Latecomers will be seated at a suitable break in the performance at the discretion of management. We recommend you arrive 30 minutes before the show begins to receive the best seating arrangement.

What are the age restrictions?

16+ with a guardian and 18 years of age without a guardian. Check your upcoming show for any specific restrictions.

What if the comics on the lineup are different from the flyer?

We try to provide our guests the best comedy experience, however, the comic lineup is subject to change without notice.

Can I smoke or vape during the show?


Is there access for people with reduced mobility?

We are wheelchair accessible and have a wheelchair accessible bathroom on the first floor.

What is the address?

236 W 78th Street New York NY 10024 (corner of 78th/Broadway, easily accessed from the subway red line: 2 / 3 trains at 72nd Street, or 1 train at 79th Street)

Ticket Questions

What if I can’t make it to the show?

You can potentially receive an exchange for a ticket of a similar value if you email us in advanced at laugh@standupny.com.

What is the refund policy?

Your ticket purchase is non refundable. Refunds are given if a show is cancelled by the venue. 

Can I transfer my tickets to another person?

Yes, please email us at laugh@standupny.com to let us know.

I purchased my ticket with a 3rd party (Groupon, Laughpass, etc), where do I make a reservation?

You can make a reservation by selecting the show on our site and choosing the reservation option. If there is no reservation option, the show is not available for 3rd party 

Can I host a party or a private event at the club?

Yes, please email us at  laugh@standupny.com for further details.

Do I have to print my ticket?

No, you can simply show your ticket on your device as your name will be at the door.

Code of Conduct

– Guests shall be respectful of others around them, and shall be respectful of their space particularly as it relates to COVID-19 physical distancing requests.

– Guests shall avoid blocking the view of other guests.

– Guests shall refrain from heckling, using foul/offensive language, fighting, obscene gestures, throwing objects and engaging in other behavior detrimental to the experience of other guests.

– Guests shall refrain from taking video and photographs of the performance.

– Guests shall comply with requests from Stand Up NY Staff if they are asked to leave the premises or adjust their behavior.

LaughPass is an annual membership that grants you access to unlimited comedy shows at venues across the country plus great perks, like VIP seating and free tickets for your friends.
